Good Morning Marnie and Janice, And happy new year to you both! It's Gabby from Castlegar (Nelson Blueliners) emailing you in hopes that you both and/or some ladies you know in the Trail/Rossland area might be interested in playing in the upcoming Cranbrook tournament. I'm trying to put a team together. The tournament is February 28-March 1, just those two days, and will be a three-game per team, fun, recreational tournament (no finals, and only six teams going) One of our players in Nelson (Franny) has offered accommodation directly beside the rink we will be playing in, a house that can hold 8 people-- and more, I'm sure, provided you bring a sleeping bag and pillow! There is a banquet dinner on the Saturday night, and for teams travelling the furthest away, the tournament organizer said she will try to save the earlier games on the Saturday for the closer teams. It will be a lot of fun, so please spread the word and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me!
