    Smokette's Scholarship Presentation

    Good Morning Smokettes,

The Smokette Women's Hockey Team Scholarship will be presented on Friday, June 10 2011, at the graduation ceremonies at Rossland Senior Secondary School. Our criteria for the scholarship was a student who had been involved in hockey as a player, referee or volunteer, or was related to a past or present Smokette. The student is required to provide proof of registration to post-secondary schooling or training to receive the scholarship.

This year we are supporting 2 deserving students, Lily Grubisic, Ali Grubisic's daughter, and Justine Armour, who played hockey with RMHA. They will each receive $250.

I am not available to be at the presentation, so who would like to present our very first scholarship? Please send me a note ASAP, and I will get you the info. It is very easy, and very exciting!

    As always, good work Smokettes!

    Janice.
